Since 2010, Judi has been working as an Independent Social Worker (ISW) and mediator, and this is now her main focus of expertise,

Family Mediation
Judi is a qualified mediator in divorce and contact disputes. She is accredited by the Family Mediation Association and is also a Professional Practice Consultant. She can provide Child Inclusive Mediation for families. Judi also worked for Relate for 12 years as a counselor in a voluntary capacity.
If at all possible, Judi would prefer to mediate rather than the parties attend court.
Professionals
Judi has had extensive experience working with social work professionals, solicitors, barristers, judges, heath care professionals including psychiatrists, psychologists and personnel from the mental health field.
The Courts
Judi is accustomed to working in the court arena having originally trained as a court welfare officer in the mid-1970s at the High Court in the Strand. Her early career was in probation, specializing in working with young offenders.
Judi frequently gives evidence in court and is called on as an expert witness.
International Social Work
Judi has extensive experience in international social work having completed Foreign Adoptions of children from Europe and the Far East. She speaks both French and Spanish and has conducted ISW investigations in Europe.
